All previous clips are available instantly. I got frustrated when it seemed that the information that I wanted to paste was just out of reach. Consider this scenario: Copy a bit of text, Paste it, Copy an image, Paste that. Then it turns out that you want to paste the text again. But you can't! Because the clipboard has been overlaid with the image. ClipCache solves this problem with the RecentClipList; Hot key (I use ctl-shft-< and > but you can set it to whatever you want) to the clip you need and paste it. It's that simple.
But here's another pain you might experience: an hour ago you copied and pasted some text from a document in an app that's now closed (or even gone), with ClipCache you can retrieve the clip and paste it. You can even search for it.
Great repository for scraps of information, text or image. Sometimes I have a bit of text or an image at hand that I think I might use later. But at the moment I have no place to put it and I'll forget where I put it anyway. With ClipCache I simply do a copy and forget about it, I know where to find it if I need it.
Handy print-to bucket. Sometimes I need to print a bit of text, maybe a sentence, maybe a paragraph, something out of context. I used to copy and paste into an editor like Notepad then discard the document. Now I can copy it, go to ClipCache and print it. If the clip is formatted, for example HTML, I have the choice of printing the formatted version or simple, plain text.
PowerPaste eliminates keystrokes. Ever have a list of things that you need to copy into another document? But it's not all together so you can do one copy? ClipCache PowerPaste allows you to set a target, then everything you copy after that is automatically pasted into the target until you tell it to stop.
